“Is it a sign of getting older that you look up and can see your eyebrows?…God I hope not.”
Insha’Allah that only applies to men! :-)
Haha! Dear sister, indeed I certainly hope so. The sisters in society tend to do most of the work and suffer the greatest calamities, they must at least be spared the eyebrow problem, by His Grace.
I wonder, would you be able to share with me, again, the name of the book that would help with developing one’s understanding and appreciation of poetry, again, please. I’ve been thinking I need to start appreciating it more :)
With love, and thanks,
P.S – have you heard from writingfloridian of late? He hasn’t blogged in a while – I think I got a message a couple of weeks ago, but I wrote to him since and haven’t heard back – hope he’s as well as possible and just bogged down with his course load!
Hi Imraan – I think we’re all a bit bogged down at the mo – I’m a bit slow in responding to your comment – sorry. No, I haven’t seen or heard from him – I keep meaning to do a troll through the sites I follow to catch up, but … well you know … life gets in the way, lol.
The book – Ruth Padel ’52 ways of looking at a poem’
Salaams – take care.
I attempted to visit writingfloridian’s blog and it’s now classified as ‘private’ – I sent a request for access, so we’ll see … Insha’Allah all is well with him. I’m guessing he had a good reason for taking that step with the blog. Please let me know if you hear anything, brother.
Salam dear sister,
Hope that this finds you on a great day! I’ve just sent you an email – worth checking your spam box in case it has ended up there :)
Love, and prayers,
